Is the pipe connection the only consideration for a floor drain?
No. Floor height, the fall towards the drain and a compatible waterproofing connection also matter. Coordinate these details with the screed and tiling work before installation.

Floor drain installation
A floor drain is used in walk-in showers and other areas where water must drain directly from the finished floor.
We set the drain to the finished floor height, maintain the correct waste-pipe fall, check the trap and perform a controlled water-flow test.
